Data Flow Methodology

Process Description:

• Players play a match in Splatoon 3.

• Using the NXAPI, they submit their stats by giving a Discord Bot their token, which is logged in Discord.

• Periodically, a .csv is generated to be loaded.

• The .csv is processed using Power Query, and creates a .xlsx with several tables.

• The tables are manually reviewed, then hard coded (copy-pasted) into a relational database.

• A Power BI visualization linked to the database pulls data and formats it in a visualization.

• Periodically, the data is refreshed in the online viewer.
